So this whole flood thing has turned into a major deal. As in thousands of dollars of damage (which, fortunately, our homeowner's insurance policy will cover, less our deductible). As in having to hire a restoration company to tear out carpet and drywall and bring in heavy equipment to dry out the affected areas.
